The barcode scanning feature alone pays for itself. Add in customer database and it's a no-brainer for any gift shop.

Coming from an old-school register, Oracle MICROS was a game changer. Easy setup, great training, and the returns processing is fantastic.

Good system, good support. The layaway feature is what sold us. Would love to see better customer support hours are limited in future updates.

Would not recommend

Regret switching to Oracle MICROS. The layaway feature looked great but data loss after updates has made daily operations difficult.
