Some pros, some cons

Three stars because it's neither great nor terrible. NCR Counterpoint handles transactions fine but printer connectivity problems is a real problem.

Decent but frustrating

Decent system with some frustrating limitations. gift card system is good. inventory sync issues between locations makes me hesitant to fully recommend.

Average POS system. Does the basics fine. returns processing works well but reports showing incorrect data has been frustrating. Considering options.

Mixed feelings

Mixed feelings about NCR Counterpoint. The purchase orders is great but we've had issues with login issues for staff. Support helped eventually.

Can't recommend. We liked the purchase orders demo but real-world performance is poor. slow transaction processing constantly.

Solid POS system. layaway feature is excellent, customer database could use some improvement. Still recommend for smoke shop.

Worst POS ever

Do not buy. inventory sync issues between locations crashed during our busiest day. Support blamed our internet. It wasn't our internet.

Functional but underwhelming. barcode scanning sold us on NCR Counterpoint but the reality of payment terminal disconnects wasn't mentioned in sales.
