Good POS, room to improve

Solid POS system. layaway feature is excellent, sales analytics could use some improvement. Still recommend for gift shop.

Not as advertised

Disappointing experience with Auto-Star. The inventory management rarely works as advertised. credit card processing failures has cost us customers.

Frustrating experience

Looking to switch away from Auto-Star. system crashes during peak hours happens weekly. barcode scanning is okay but not worth the hassle.

Room for improvement

We use Auto-Star for our bookstore. employee management is useful. However, system crashes during peak hours has caused headaches. Looking at alternatives.

Four months in and Auto-Star is working well. Staff trained quickly on the employee management. Wish reporting could be more detailed was included.
