It's okay

Three stars because it's neither great nor terrible. Auto-Star handles transactions fine but system crashes during peak hours is a real problem.

Disappointed

Looking to switch away from Auto-Star. credit card processing failures happens weekly. stock alerts is okay but not worth the hassle.

Mostly satisfied

Four months in and Auto-Star is working well. Staff trained quickly on the barcode scanning. Wish offline mode is limited was included.

Mixed feelings about Auto-Star. The stock alerts is great but we've had issues with payment terminal disconnects. Support helped eventually.

Has potential

We use Auto-Star for our jewelry store. customer tracking is useful. However, printer connectivity problems has caused headaches. Looking at alternatives.

Save yourself the trouble. Auto-Star has potential but reports showing incorrect data and poor support make it not worth it.

Recommended with caveats

Overall very happy with Auto-Star. The returns processing works great. Knocked off one star because hardware is a bit pricey, but nothing major.

Solid POS system. layaway feature is excellent, price labeling could use some improvement. Still recommend for grocery store.
